- Our refrigeration: Co2 cascade system. The most natural gas in
the earth’s atmosphere. Energy efficient, able to reach desired
temperature quickly saves energy and is cost effective.
- Power: Over 25% of all electricity for FoodBoss is sourced from
green energy. That has to be good.
- Water: 200 000 litres in under ground rainwater tanks providing
bathrooms, gardens, wash down and general cleaning all from rainwater
captured from the cold store.
- Energy Saver: Constant temperatures under our freezer are provided
by ambient air delivered by 150mm pipes, 600mm apart powered by
natural air flow.
- Office: Facing south with large full length heat reflecting windows
allowing natural light which reduces the use of artificial light
and the use of air conditioning.
